What is in this deck
With this deck you learn what a remote pilot certificate asks for: the rules of Part 107, the airspace classes as they are drawn on a chart, the weather reports and the decisions that go wrong.
Flying a drone for anything but fun in the United States means a remote pilot certificate, and that means four things: the rules, the airspace, the weather and yourself.
152 cards on all four. Part 107 from the 400-foot ceiling to the in-flight emergency. The airspace classes as they are drawn on a sectional. Weather in the form it arrives in, a METAR and a TAF. And the part that fails most often, the pilot: five hazardous attitudes and their printed antidotes.
Not a question bank. The FAA has not released its test questions since 2012. These cards come from 14 CFR Part 107, the certification standards and the published samples, all public domain.
The categories decide what comes up: start with “Airspace” alone and add the rest when you are ready.
What you learn
- Part 107 rule by rule, with the numbers that are tested
- Airspace classes as they look on a sectional chart
- Reading a METAR and a TAF line by line
- The five hazardous attitudes and their antidotes
- Battery, compass and link failures before they happen

Where the content comes from
The cards follow 14 CFR Part 107 and the Remote Pilot Airman Certification Standards, published by Federal Aviation Administration. As of Nachtflug- und Overpeople-Regel vom 21.4.2021.
What you get
Here are three of the 152 cards you get when you buy the deck.
Question
Which part of the federal aviation regulations governs small commercial drone flight?
Answer
14 CFR Part 107. It covers small unmanned aircraft under 55 pounds flown for any purpose other than recreation.
Note
Recreational flight has its own exception in 49 U.S.C. 44809, with different rules and the same airspace authorisation requirement.
Question
What is the maximum weight of a small unmanned aircraft under Part 107?
Answer
Less than 55 pounds, including everything on board at takeoff.
Note
Payload, camera and battery all count; the limit is on the aircraft as flown, not as sold.
Question
What certificate does a Part 107 pilot hold?
Answer
A remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating. It does not expire, but currency does.
Note
Since 2021 the recurrent requirement is free online training every 24 calendar months, not a retest.
Learning with Qardbox
You see a card, you think, you turn it over and say whether you knew it. A round asks nothing more of you, and how the app works out the next date from that is on the page about FSRS-6.
What sits comes back less often, what wobbles comes back soon. You set a daily goal, and when nothing is due the app tells you exactly that instead of inventing work for you. How a round goes is shown on the learning page.
Everything stays on your device. No account, no sign-up, no ads. After the purchase the deck sits in your library like any other subject and can be studied, reordered and extended just like your own.
What it costs, and what it doesn’t
Qardbox itself costs nothing, and it stays that way. Every function is there from the start, with no subscription, no ads and no tiers; what that rests on is on the page about what it costs.
Your own cards stay unlimited, and decks from friends or from the family you read in without a limit, from a file as well. You do not need this deck in order to learn with Qardbox.
It is a shortcut: 152 checked cards for €1.49, once, with Family Sharing. The work you would otherwise do is already done. The App Store shows the price in your currency.
Common questions
Do I have to pay for Qardbox?
No. The app is free, with no subscription and no ads, and every feature is included. The only thing that costs money is a ready-made deck like this one, €1.49 once.
Could I make these cards myself?
Yes, without limit and for free. You can type them, import a file or take over cards from friends. This deck only saves you the work.
How many cards are in Drone Pilot: Part 107?
152 cards, sorted into 7 categories.
Do I need a connection to study?
Only to download the deck. After that it lives on your device and you study offline. There is no account, and you sign in nowhere.
Which devices does this run on?
On iPhone and iPad from iOS 26, and on Apple Watch. One purchase covers the family through Family Sharing.
Is there a Qardbox for Android?
No. Qardbox is there for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, not for Android and not in a browser.
