What is in this deck

With this deck you learn Russian for police work at level A2: 438 cards for checks, questioning and reports, with the phrase that is actually used on duty.

“Где вы сейчас находитесь?” The location question opens every emergency call, and here it stands with 419 further sentences of everyday duty.

438 complete questions and statements: asking for street, house number and floor, giving instructions to the caller, asking about casualties, taking down the witness account.

The form of address is the polite вы throughout. In Russian the gap between ты and вы is wider than in English: an officer who uses ты on duty does not sound relaxed, they sound as though they are taking a liberty.

The categories decide what comes up: start with “Health, injuries and drugs” alone and add the rest when you are ready.

You learn Russian. The cards, the categories and the usage notes are in English, so you never have to learn through a third language.
